Newsletter May 2026
Dear Buddhist Town property owners, members, and friends,
Wishing you great auspiciousness in all endeavors!
The Buddhist Town Community Association
The Buddhist Town Community Association has gone through many challenges and much exploration, and in 2026 it will officially be launched to the public, opening a new chapter for Holy Heavenly Lake Buddhist Town.
The application and approval process for the Buddhist Town development project has also finally achieved some major breakthroughs, with the four primary obstacles now being resolved: The Traffic Impact Analysis has officially been approved. The widening requirement for Lemon Street has been reversed, with the city returning a 34-foot-wide roadway section back to the Buddhist Town. The river embankment project will be a consideration at Phase Two. The wastewater treatment proposal has also received preliminary approval in principle. The design plans for the four Phase One developments — Zheng Xing Yuan, True Dharma Temple, Macang Yuan, and Fa Chan Temple — have all been revised and completed. As a result, the Buddhist Town Community Association (BTCA), formed jointly by these four Phase One development owners, has naturally come into being and will officially begin operations later this year. The Holy Heavenly Lake Buddhist Town Development Committee will continue focusing on construction and development work, while the newly established Buddhist Town Community Association will take over the organization of broader community activities and programs. We warmly welcome everyone to participate in organizing activities and to make full use of the existing resources and facilities of Buddhist Town!
